North Wales named one of World's best regions by Lonely Planet

North Wales named World's #4 best region

As a Welsh company we're thrilled to see that Lonely Planet has named North Wales as one of the World's best regions to visit in 2017!

Lonely Planet released their 'Best in Travel 2017' list for a years worth of travel inspiration. Under the 'Top 10 Regions', North Wales is number four amongst the Azores, Portugal; Taranaki, New Zealand and South Australia.

The region is praised for its new adventure based attractions such as Surf Snowdonia (inland lagoon that generates the world’s longest surfable human-made waves), and Zip World (world’s fastest and Europe’s longest zip line).

We recently spent a weekend selling our hand crafted products at Surf Snowdonia Christmas market and can certainly see why it deserves a mention! You can read about our weekend and see our photos of the event on our blog post

Snowdonia National Park is also commended for being designated a ‘dark-sky reserve’ thanks to its lack of light pollution.
